Congratulations! You've ALMOST finished!

There's only a few things left to do. First, we'll be dealing with the ENB Preset that we installed so long ago and getting it finalized. Then, it's time to go over MCM settings. You'll find the Guide's recommendations below.

Expect to take about 30 minutes (for you experienced folks) to two hours (for the more inexperienced or slower types) to get all of this dealt with.

You've worked long and hard for this... enjoy the fruit of your labours. And, if something still seems off... come talk to us. We're waiting for you.

LJOSS Tutorial

What is that thing on the screen?

Fire up that game and start a new game. Once you load in, you'll likely notice a big black dot with text on it in the upper right corner.

Welcome to LJOSS ENB, developed by the Guide's own Sthagg Mnemnochs! He works in the visual industry and spent a large amount of time trying to develop a system that would help you to get the best visual experience possible. Way back at the beginning of the guide, you may have done a little bit of monitor calibration... this process - the Tutorial - will walk you through a few fine tuning steps.

The first two 'pages' should be followed by everyone. The other pages are informational and ARE NOT REQUIRED to do anything with, unless you wish to. Some of this is for troubleshooting information and are only needed if you are having problems.

The second page has a series of Dragon Logos on it, and many monitors - especially non-HDR setups - may not be able to ever see the top one. This is fine - use the second one as your benchmark instead.

Once you've gone through these, there are instructions in the tutorial that, when followed, will prevent this tutorial from showing up again in the future. Make sure read them carefully, and if you have questions, bring them to the Help Desk on the discord.

MCM Settings

The Magic is in the Details

WARNING

**DO NOT** make any changes to the MCM settings until you see the message "MUSEUM LIST BUILDING COMPLETE" appear in the notifications area of your screen.

  • When reading the MCM setting below, we are using the format that was developed for FOMOD settings. As such, it needs to be read slightly differently for MCM purposes.
    • Checkboxes indicate settings that are toggled (IE, On or Off). These should match the state of the checkbox shown.
    • Radio Buttons list a setting that requires changing. It is always On, but needs to have it's setting changed to the indicated values.

If you would like to see a printer-friendly version of the MCM option, you can find that here

NOTE

Adept Difficulty is the target level for the Guide. Keep this information in mind when making changes to your MCM settings.

NOTE

The below settings are recommendations **only**. You are free to set any MCM value you wish to any value that you wish without losing official support on the Discord Channel. It's Your Game. Enjoy it!

  1. Create a new save.
  2. Quit the game.
  3. Open your save game folder. and note the string of numbers,
  4. Go to the "SSSOConf" folder (in the installation folder for this mod) and

  7. Open the file and replace "notset" with the ID you located.

ENJOY SKYRIM

Seriously. Go play the game. For real.

Start the game through MO2 using the SKSE launcher, and load up that game you just saved a moment ago...

Or, be like the rest of us and start adding crap in. But from here, you're on your own.
